Authorized certification bodies and certification bodies in the accreditation process can add national qualifications(s) to their contract scopes and/or remove national qualifications(s).
When the certification bodies in the accreditation process want to add national qualifications to the scope of the contract, they submit their demand to VQA with an application letter. The contract scope of the organization whose application is deemed appropriate is expanded without the need to sign a new contract.
Authorized certification bodies make a pre-application to VQA for scope expansion if they want to add national qualifications to their contract scope.
As a result of the review and evaluation carried out by VQA, the "Scope Expansion Preliminary contract" is signed with the organizations whose pre-application for scope expansion is appropriate.
In order for the contracted organization to apply for scope expansion, it must be accredited in line with the international personnel certification standard titled "TS EN ISO/IEC 17024:2012 Conformity Assessment - General Conditions for Personnel Certification Organizations" in particular for the national qualification(s) included in the contract.
Organizations that have completed the accreditation process apply for scope expansion to VQA. As a result of the review, audit and evaluation processes to be carried out by VQA, the scope of authorization of the organization whose authorization application is appropriate is expanded without the need to sign a new contract.
