OCCUPATIONAL STANDARDS DEPARTMENT



Occupational Standards Department shall have the following duties:

  • To determine the methods to be followed for the development of occupational standards.

  • To develop and update standards, review applications to the Authority for the development of standards and report on the results of such reviews.

  • To monitor and report whether the activities of the bodies authorized for developing occupational standards meet the established criteria or not.

  • To conduct research on the development of Occupational Standards, prepare publications and identify any changes required in the system in line with the data obtained as a result of implementation

  • To carry out any other duties assigned by the President as well as any other similar duties envisaged by the legislation.
