The Turkish Qualifications Framework Department shall have the following duties:
To conduct the activities of formation, development, revision and operation of the Turkish Qualifications Framework and coordinate with related institutions and establishments.
To conduct activities on the formation, operation and sustainability of the committee and structures determined in the Turkish Qualifications Framework
To conduct activities of referencing the Turkish Qualifications Framework with the European Qualifications Framework; other regional frameworks along with the activities of mutual recognition regarding the national qualification frameworks of other countries.
Making research about its field of work, prepare publications, identify any changes required to be made in the system within the frame of the data acquired as a result of its implementation
To carry out any other duties assigned by the President as well as any other similar duties envisaged by the legislation.
