UPDATES AND EVALUATION

Update requests for national qualifications are made through the ‘’ Update form for national qualifications’’. They are examined by VQA in terms of method, and if there is an irregularity, the demanding organization is contacted in order to make up for these irregularities.

The update request is evaluated by taking into account the opinion of the organizations that prepared the national qualification and the related national occupational standard along with the opinion of the certification bodies that are authorized to do testing and certification activities in the related national qualification.

The updates that are found appropriate are reflected in national qualifications and they are presented to the related sector committee for review and evaluation.

In the case that there is an update in the national occupational standard (that forms the basis for the national qualifications) or in the international standard, these are reflected in the national qualifications within one year after the date of update at the latest.
