For the revision of an occupational standard five years after their publishing in the Official Gazette, the organization that developed the national occupational standard is contacted. In the case that these institutions reject the revision task, the national occupational standard is revised by the study groups that comprise the organizations qualified for the preparation of the NOSs.
As a result of the revision studies, NOSs with no need of updating are presented to the Executive Board for approval in order to restart the new five-year period.
Updates are made for the national occupational standards at the end of the decision-making process.
