National Occupational Standard

A national occupational standard (NOS) is the minimal norm that displays the required knowledge, skills, and attitudes approved by VQA in order to successfully practice an occupation.

Identification of occupations:; The occupations for which a standard is going to be developed are identified by taking into consideration top priority needs of the labour market and educational institutions along with suggestions of the sector committees.
