VOC-TEST CENTERS-III GRANT SCHEMES



The purpose of Voc-Test Centers III Grant Scheme is to support the establishment of Voc-Test Centers in order to support qualified and certified labour force, strengthen the relationship between education and employment, ensure the validity of formal and non-formal education, to support the development and/or revision of national occupational standards and national qualifications with the objective of facilitating alignment with the European Qualifications Framework and to support an effective, sustainable and trustworthy National Qualifications System by ensuring an appropriate, transparent and quality assured assessment and certification structure.

Within the scope of the Grant Scheme; national occupational standards and national qualifications will be developed/revised by the organizations that are entitled to receive grants, and VOC-Test Centers will be established to carry out testing and certification activities in the committed professions.

The minimum grant amount for each project applied is 150,000 EUR and the maximum grant amount is 250,000 EUR. The implementation period of the projects supported within the scope of the program is 18 months. Within the scope of the grant program, 23 projects in a total of 15 sectors have been selected to receive grants; the process of contract signing with these beneficiary organizations has been completed and the implementation period of the projects started as of November 1, 2020. The total amount of approved grant contracts is EUR 4,840,059.74.

As a result of the projects to be carried out within the scope of the program; it is aimed that:

  • A total of 23 testing and certification centers are established in 15 sectors,
  • 23 national occupational standards are developed,
  • 56 national occupational standards are updated,
  • 60 national qualifications are developed,
  • 32 national qualifications are updated,,
  • Certification is made in a total of 134 national qualifications/occupations
